Its Just Fear (and Laziness)... Holding You Back

That’s right… Every time you miss the mark, is only due to fear and laziness. That’s the only thing holding you back. What could you accomplish if you knew that you couldn’t fail? What would you try or completely commit and go for? What would come into your life? How far could you go? Who could you be? How much good and love could you deliver to your friends, loved ones and the rest of the world? You are about to learn how to eradicate fear from your life.

 

It’s all completely in your head. Your entire reality… Everything. Every last thing, that you experience whether you are awake, daydreaming or asleep is just in your own consciousness. Think about it: you exist here in the world, and your entire reality comes to you through your own filter. This filter is your senses. I believe that there are six senses, which we all have: Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste, Touch and Intuition.  We use only a fraction of our ability and we are so very capable of much, much more! And what keeps us from using our complete ability? Our choices of whether we will focus on fear or the desired outcome of Love, service, higher power, God, the Universe, whatever You want to call it… will determine how much of our ability we use. And some people believe that our brain architecture is also coming into play: our brain has two lobes, which we commonly call the “Right” and “Left” brains. We will discuss this intriguing topic soon.

My personal belief is that fear blocks us from accessing our true inteligence, which is our Intuition. When you use your intuition correctly, things work out. Its amazing! And you can us it regularly to achieve your highest potential and to serve everyone around you. All you have to do is focus on your positive outcomes (and forget about fear), and access is granted! Its automatic! You don't even have to try; it just happens!

The bottom line is that you get what you expect and you achieve what you focus on. If you focus on what can go wrong, or not getting what you need… you will probably get just that. The important thing to consider is the outcome that you really want. My personal (and humble) opinion is that we all want to succeed and to get our needs met. And one of our most important needs is Love/ Connection. And if you focus on going toward love and connection, you will not think about fear very often (or at all).  I am not saying that you shouldn’t fear a rattlesnake, loose in your tent or not wear a seatbelt, but what I am saying is that when it comes to your life purpose (and in the big picture of your daily life…) it may help you to regularly and consciously focus on what you want and the solutions for accomplishing your outcomes.

 

Another easy strategy that we can implement (on the same theme) is to live by this maxim: “Expect the best, and prepare for the worst”. It’s what professional pilots do all day long. Every time we start those engines up and lift off, we totally, completely, 100 percent expect that the airplane will get us up to altitude and that our skills will guide us to a safe landing at our destination, on time. But before we take off, we also brief our emergency procedures and we run our checklists every time. This way, we know what to do if something comes up and there are no (real) surprises or disappointments.
Why can’t we do this all day long with the rest of our lives? I do! And I have been conditioned to do this in high impact trainings and situations for years. And I know that you don’t have to go through what I have, in order to get this mindset. It can be learned and conditioned with your daily life. Go ahead and try it on for a few days: when you find yourself doubting a positive outcome or experiencing fear, just “catch” yourself and redirect yourself to where you really want to be. And expect it to work out. Have “faith”! And I am not talking about religious faith; just a belief with certainty, that it’s going to work out. You can do this? After a while, you will see a shift in your “luck”. I challenge you to try it out for a day (or a week) and see how much it works. What do you have to lose? Fear? Ha ha! Try it! And enjoy the results. And I promise that when you start getting great results, laziness will not be a part of your behavior… When good things are happening to you regularly, you will wake up with an excitement and curiosity like you had when you were a kid. How great will that be?
